Centred around Swadlincote and Ashby-de-la-Zouch. Extending into North Warwickshire, South Derbyshire, East Staffordshire, West Leicestershire. Between the Needwood and Charnwood forests.
Our vision is to:
- stimulate interest in local and family history
- arrange great days out
- support educational activities
- work with groups which research their heritage
- provide opportunities to publish
- aid church and parish council history projects
- foster individual wellbeing and social inclusion
